How do I get access to the BLOS parent portal and what features does it offer?

Once the placement agreement has been signed, you will receive an e-mail with instructions for using the parent portal via My BLOS. As soon as you have activated your account for the parent portal, you can use the app with the same login details. Did you not receive an e-mail, or do you wish to receive an instruction to activate your account? Please send an e-mail to info@blos.nl and we’ll make sure you will get access shortly.

With the parent portal and the app, you can:

  • Experience your child’s adventures
  • Read the digital notebook
  • Easily report the absence of your child
  • Request exchange days or additional childcare (note: the app doesn’t offer this feature yet)
  • Keep up to date on important news items
  • View your invoices
  • Change or view your personal details

How do I download the parent app on my phone?

As soon as you have activated your BLOS parent portal account, you can use our handy parent app. Download the free Flexkids parent app in the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android), use the same login details as for the parent portal and follow your child’s adventures, wherever you are.
Note: if you want to receive nice pictures of your child during the day, please make sure you give permission for us to take photographs in the parent portal (via your computer).

I have forgotten my password. What do I do?

If you have forgotten your password, you can request a new password via this link.

Can my (ex) partner and I get separate accounts for access to the parent portal?

Absolutely. Please send your request to info@blos.nl.

I use the parent portal, but I don't want my child to be photographed. How can I report this?

You can manage your preference for having your child be photographed via My BLOS. Log in and go to the menu 'Data'. The option ‘I do not consent’, is checked by default.
