Can my child bring treats to the BLOS childcare centre?

Is it your child’s birthday during a childcare day at the day care centre? Of course, you can bring treats. Bringing birthday treats is not something we do at the after school care centre, however, because your child will already have done this at school. Of course, we will make sure to create a special celebration moment at the after school care centre.

We kindly ask you to take the BLOS treats policy into account, meaning we ask you to bring something healthy. Want to read more about our nutritional policy? You can find more information in the parent portal and the app (go to the menu-item ‘Information’ and select ‘Nutrition’ or on our website. Non-edible toys like a bubble wand or chalk are also allowed.

Before bringing treats, make sure to consult a member of our pedagogical staff. That way the location knows what to expect and can inform you about the number of treats you should bring and if there are any children with allergies. You can also consult our staff for inspiration and idea’s for treats. We are most happy to help. Don’t forget to check the parent portal or the app. There you’ll find photographs of your child’s birthday. That way, you can enjoy the celebration from home.
