On behalf of the team, we would like to welcome you to the BLOS day care centre Churchill-laan! Our day care centre is located at the Churchill-laan in the Rivierenbuurt area in Amsterdam.
At our small-scale and cosy day care centre, we welcome toddlers aged 3 to 4 years old every day. For toddlers, it is not only important that they can develop in a safe and loving environment, but also that they can play with peers. That is precisely what we offer at our day care centre! Working with various themes that match their world of imagination, we prepare your child for the transition to primary school. Each theme includes fun and challenging activities, such as baking, cooking, gardening, crafts, clay and exercise. We also make sure to read a lot, so that your child comes into contact with letters at an early age. Our team of pedagogic employees has been working together for a long time and is completely in tune with each other.
At noon, we enjoy a healthy and freshly prepared lunch with a variety of organic ingredients. This way, your child will experience various flavours and structures, stimulating the development of taste.
Every day, we put on our coats and go outside. We have a nice garden, but we also like to go out and explore the area. We go on walks through the Beatrixpark, play in the playground, watch animals at the petting zoo or Artis or explore the NEMO Science Museum. Happy faces are guaranteed!

Our day care centre serves hot, fresh and organic meals from Moekes Maaltijd every afternoon. The meals have been specially developed for children: simple, low in taste, diverse and completely up to date. Moeke loves to cook with fresh seasonal products and whole-grain ingredients. The ingredients are 90% organic and contain no fragrances, colours or flavours.
