On behalf of the team, I would like to welcome you to BLOS after school care centre Westergracht in Haarlem!
Our after school care centre is, like our day care centre, located in the Bavoschool building. After school, we take care of children between the ages of 4 and 12 years old. The location offers plenty of space, both inside and out, for fun activities. We have an atmospheric room with its own theatre stage, a gymnasium and a partly covered outdoor playground at our disposal. Ideal in an urban environment like Haarlem! This way, we can play outside, exercise and gain new experiences every day. At our after school care centre, your child will discover his or her talents. We do this with the help of varied activities and workshops. Think of sports and exercise, nature, theatre and music.
We like to go on adventures in the area with the children. For example, we regularly visit the Elswout estate, Middenduin, Het Wed, Kraantje Lek, the beach or dune area De Zandwaaier. WE can also go to various playgrounds in the area or to the storytelling theatre. We do this by foot, by cargo bike, after school care bus, by public transport or by taxi van. During the holidays, we regularly visit a museum or theatre. We also invite various companies to give a workshop at our after school care centre. The days (or afternoons) whizz by!

Our after school care centre has room for 28 children spread over 2 groups and works with a standard division of groups. To offer the children stability, each group has a standard group leader. After the communal snack and drink time, your child can choose which activity to participate in. The group leader is you and your child's standard point of contact.
