On behalf of the team, we would like to welcome you to the BLOS day care centre ’s-Gravenweg in Nootdorp! You will find our day care centre in the annex building of primary schools De Waterwilg and De Winde. We have our own entrance, right in the middle of the building. In the same building, you will also find our after school care centre. Perfect if you have children in different age groups.
At our day care centre, we have one toddler group where we welcome children aged 2 to 4 years old. Here, we playfully prepare them for the transition to primary school. By being active and having fun, your toddler will learn new skills and will broadly develop in a natural way. Your child learns something new with us every day. For example, social skills, dealing with other children and making friends. We also work on language skills, such as increasing vocabulary. In addition, we do many activities that focus on exercise, music, artistic expression, cooking and nature.
In our toddler group, we make sure to give children as much space as possible to do and discover things by themselves. By letting your child make his or her own sandwich and to put on a coat or shoes, we encourage self-reliance. For older toddlers, we offer challenging assignments and activities that target different developmental areas.
Inside, we have a nice spacious area where we offer a wide range of activities. This area really encourages your child to discover, research and experiment. We have great play material to challenge the children in a playful way. Outside, in the enclosed schoolyard, the children can play in complete safety. We are also allowed to use the schoolyard of the main building. Plenty of outdoor fun!
If the weather allows it, we will go on an adventure in the area. We visit De Balij or another green area. We also regularly go on trips to the village, the library or a shop.
