On behalf of the team, we would like to welcome you to the BLOS after school care centre Vijfmeiweg! Our location is easily accessible by bicycle and car, which you can easily park. You can find us in the club building of rugby association De Bassets in Sassenheim. At our after school care centre, we welcome children from 7 to 12 years old.
Our after school care centre has a large area at its disposal space where children can play, read or do crafts. We also have a large kitchen which allows us to do fun cooking activities. Of course, make full use of the rugby fields for active and fun activities! We always make sure our activities and workshops such as football, ball sports, cooking and technology math the age of the children. We regularly have 'meeting' with the children and discuss what they need.
Twice a year, we organize a nature project, which lasts a month and is all about animals, plants or waste & recycling. And during the school holidays, we make sure to organize a varied holiday program, packed with fun themes, activities, workshops and trips!

Our after school care centre offers room for 36 children and works with a set grouping. To provide guidance and stability, each group has its own recognizable colour and the same group leaders. Having main groups means that your child will have joint eating and drinking moments with its group. During care hours, your child is free to play where and with whom he or she wants. The group leaders of our child’s group are your main contact as a parent.
This after school care centre at the Vijfmeiweg is for children of the following schools:
We offer childcare in between school hours at primary school De Overplaats (lower grades). Children bring their own lunch and enjoy their food in class, together with the teacher. While playing outside, our main pedagogical staff members and volunteers supervise the children and ensure a good transfer to school.
